Convective Outlook

The Convective Outlook is what the Storm Prediction Center at NOAA calls their predictions for the likelihood of severe thunderstorms.  I've been checking it every day since coming onto the Great Plains.  Today it appears I'm in the bulls eye.  Significant risk for severe thunderstorms (and that means tornadoes) through Illinois and Indiana.  The risk starts building with the afternoon.  I've fired up the NOAA weather radio, which will alert me if I drive into any Watch or Warned areas.  I'm paying attention.
