The alternator that failed has been replaced under warranty by Eric at L&S Towing and Service. What a fantastic place to break down, if it had to happen. I was driven to a motel, my bags were carried, doors were held for me I was given a 24 hour number to call if I needed anything, and the owner even bought me breakfast! More later. I'm back on the road.
